To Hear is To Obey

Have you borrowed or bought Leif Enger's new novel "So Brave, Strong and Handsome" as recommended by a blogger on this site. I just finished it and wanted to simply savor the taste in my mouth. Grace, mercy, patience. Enger is doing more in his novel than I know; Don Quixote is definitely referred to, but since I have not - yet- read the novel, I do not know what is going on at that level. Thankfully, Enger delights at lots of other levels. I think he has traits of Wendell Berry in being enjoyed by people of every type.

I loved his other novel, Peace Like a River.
